This program becomes available by becoming part of the Creative Alliances, LLC (Enhanced Marketing) group.

Group, REALTORS^®’ new Job Loss Protection program, part of the service called HELP (Homeowner Education and Loan Protection) from the Rainy Day Foundation, will help to ease the worry. It’s provided by the seller.

The Job Loss Protection portion of HELP will assist buyers who purchase a The Kelsey Group, REALTOR S^® listings as well as Buyers who are working with The Kelsey Group, REALTORS^® agents covered by Job Loss Protection in the event of an involuntary job loss within the first 24 months of the loan. The program covers mortgage payments up to $1,800 per month for up to 6 months. HELP also offers six months of phone counseling and monthly educational e-newsletters. Job Loss Protection is an important and timely service that gives St. Louis Metro area sellers a way to differentiate their property and provides buyers the confidence to purchase.

COTTRELL REALTY GROUP EXPANDS LOCALLY

Ballwin-based agency acquiring Chesterfield-based The Kelsey Group REALTORS
BALLWIN, Mo. - Cottrell Realty Group announced today it is acquiring The Kelsey Group, REALTORS, along with Relocation Results, and Downtown Living REALTORS, an association of affiliated leading independent residential realty firms based in Chesterfield.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the move will result in a combination of the 67 licensed agents with Cottrell’s existing real estate team, according to Kevin Cottrell, co-founder of the company. The firm’s combined agents will operate under the name The Kelsey Group, REALTORS.

Shawn Kelsey, broker and general manager of Kelsey Group, will have ownership in the new entity and retain those titles and relocate to Cottrell’s Ballwin, Mo., offices along with the 67 agents.

Bryan Kelsey, founder of The Kelsey Group, REALTORS will depart the firm to pursue his own real estate training and consulting business under a company named The Agent Wealth Project.

Cottrell Realty Group co-founder Stephanie Combs has been named team leader and chief executive officer for the combined agencies. Under her leadership, The Kelsey Group, REALTORS will introduce expanded comprehensive agent training, support services and coaching programs, beginning May 1, 2009.

Combs and Cottrell launched Cottrell Realty Group in mid-2006. Since that time, their sales volume has grown each year to reach nearly 100 transactions in 2008, despite the fact that St.Louis’ overall transaction volume declined by more than 30 percent over the same period.

Kevin Cottrell said he and Combs first began discussions with Kelsey Group in late 2008. Kelsey Group was founded in 2001. Combined sales volume for the firm and Cottrell’s Team was in excess of $78 Million Dollars and more than 300 sold units for the calendar year 2008.
